Simple and Fun Halloween Nail Art For Spooky DIY Manicures

Ah, crispy fall days, leaves swirling in the wind, the smell of bonfires…and lots of blog hits for “Halloween nail art!” It’s that time of year again, so here’s some fun and easy nail art that’s simple enough to DIY!

Simple Halloween 2013

There’s some Frankenstein, eyeballs, brains/guts, a tiny tombstone, monster eyes, a zombie hand, and lots of other simple but festive nail art.

If you’re not into crazy nail art, how about just one finger or a Halloween pedicure?

If you’re just wearing the design for 1-2 days, acrylic paint works just fine. It cleans up with water and dries slower than nail polish, so it’s ideal for painting nail art designs. You can paint the nail with polish first, then do the designs in acrylic paint. Seal the whole thing off with a good topcoat and your design should last for a day or two.

Anyone have any fun nail art ideas or want to share a mani that turned out awesome? Share with us in the comments!

Nail artist. Wanderer. I'm a color-holic, in fact, it was my love of color that brought me to the nail art world. Well, that, and the fact I was too cheap to pay crazy Japanese prices for nail polish while living in Tokyo, so I had to start mixing my own. That's how NTMG began.
