Hot and Sticky

Oops- I didn’t mean to sound all kinky. I was referring to the weather here in Japan. My polish is drying too fast and bubbling like crazy. Frankens tend to dry faster than normal polishes, especially with pigment or glitter added, but mine are getting a nasty skin on them about 30 seconds after I mix them up. Ugh!

I haven’t even been able to ride my motorcycle, it’s been so hot. Granted, this is not unusual weather in Asia, but it seems even hotter than previous years.

Though I don’t have a franken to show, I do have this:

I reallly want one of these. It’s an acrylic toilet seat with real money in it. I know it’s tacky beyond all belief, but no one has ever accused me of having very good taste.  Though I’m not a neat-freak by any means, I do scrub my toilet regularly so I’m not worried about having a transparent cover.  Is this hideous or awesome, or both?

About nevertoomuchglitter

Nail artist. Wanderer. I'm a color-holic, in fact, it was my love of color that brought me to the nail art world. Well, that, and the fact I was too cheap to pay crazy Japanese prices for nail polish while living in Tokyo, so I had to start mixing my own. That's how NTMG began.

Hideous, tacky, and awesome. Yup. 🙂

At first I thought “cool” then I realized how horribly tacky it is. Then I realized I would think it was great if someone else had it in their bathroom. I don’t think I would get it for myself, but would get a kick out of it every time I used it at someone else’s house! hahaha
    I say get it!

Haha! It’s totally hideous, but if one of my friends had one I would secretly enjoy it every time I had to use the bathroom.

It’s tacky but fun! Just thinking of toilets gags me. I get very squeamish about the subject. It’s horrible in New Jersey also. Thank God for the air conditioning.

Wow…there are no words! I wonder if there are matching sinks and counter tops.

By the way, I’ve tagged you at my blog here: http://impyroghea.wordpress.com/2010/08/14/sweet-friends-3/

Haha that toilet seat is hilarious!

I also am having weather related polish issues here in the eastern US. It’s been really humid, so I have to blast my polish with a hair dryer. It’s gotten quite annoying.
