One weekend left until Design Festa!
Pretty much every available surface in my house is covered in drying nails. I found a rhinestone in my soup, and I had a plastic nail stuck in my hair a few days ago (luckily my guy spotted it before I went to work). My house looks like a nail art supply store exploded.
I have designed brocures, business cards, decorations, etc. and I sent them to the printer. I have painted, Konaded and designed about 15,000 nails (literally). I have cut about a million clay canes and counting:
Aren’t they cute?
I’ve gone through about 150 bottles of polish, a small mountain of rhinestones, and 6 bottles of Konad Special polish. I really, really, really hope this works out because I’ve put a lot of time and effort in.
After October 25, I think I can be my normal self again and hope things settle down. I have some good stuff planned- just another week to hang on until my life gets back to just plain busy instead of insane.
They are so cute. Love those Fimo canes. I really hope you sell masses of nails. At least you got to use up some of your rhinestones!
Good luck!!! That’s a great picture 🙂
OMG those are so cute! Did you make those by hand? They are incredible!
Good luck! I’m sure you will do really well. Your nail designs are fabulous x
That’s some hard work indeed!
I really do hope we get to see more of the goodness here!
And, sorry if I’ve missed something, but what exactly is it that you will be doing? Some sort of exhibition? Are you a professional nail artist?
Wow! That’s a lot of nails!
Good luck. Hope you sell all of them.
Your cutting all of those???!? haha, they’re cute!!
Wow that’s an insane amount of nails! I really hope everything goes well for you ^_^ Make sure to take lots of pictures!
I love the kitty face canes. So cute.
I’m sure you’ll sell tons of sets. I can’t wait to see pics.
Good luck!! Can’t wait to see photos from the fair 🙂
Thank you all for your good wishes. I didn’t make these canes because I ran out of time, but I can make some pretty funky ones and probably will for my next show.
I hope to do well, but we’ll see! Thanks again for the good vibes from all over, and I’ll be sure to keep everyone updated!
Huh, I never knew what canes were until now! I guess I always thought they were long erasers (???) or something. Those look so intricate and cute!
