St. Patty’s Day Nail Art 1

Here’s a little bit of simple but fun nail art for St. Patty’s Day.

I realize that the Irish flag has vertical stripes, not horizontal ones, but when I tried that, it just didn’t look good. So, now my nails look more Indian than Irish, but I hope you can get the general idea. I painted the base with Orly French Tip White, and then frankened some orange from red, yellow and gold glitter. Try 1/3 red to 2/3 yellow.  The green was from a Japanese dollar store, but could be frankened with navy blue and neon yellow.

I then stuck a shamrock decal in the middle for a little St. Paddy’s day feeling.  Maybe I’ll make a green-color mango lassi shake to complete the Ireland/India theme!

About nevertoomuchglitter

Nail artist. Wanderer. I'm a color-holic, in fact, it was my love of color that brought me to the nail art world. Well, that, and the fact I was too cheap to pay crazy Japanese prices for nail polish while living in Tokyo, so I had to start mixing my own. That's how NTMG began.

Your nails look adorable. I wouldn’t worry if there not stripped the right direction. They look like a fun manicure.
