Radiant Rust

This is a cool color. Unfortunately, it looks a bit icky on my ghostly white hands. This is a neon rust with copper sparkles, and it will look great on all you non-zombies.

I mixed a medium green shimmer polish (like moss) with orange neon polish to make a neon rust sort of like China Glaze’s Sacred Heart, but darker and with shimmer. Neons tend to dry matte, and I wanted something shiny as usual. So, I added a couple of coats made of copper glitter + clear topcoat.

Neons can add a lot to a franken, but you will get a bright color. Neons act differently in a mix than other colors do. This rust was actually a lot brighter than I had expected. I added a little more green in the mix (see pinkie) but decided to stick with the brighter shade.

About nevertoomuchglitter

Nail artist. Wanderer. I'm a color-holic, in fact, it was my love of color that brought me to the nail art world. Well, that, and the fact I was too cheap to pay crazy Japanese prices for nail polish while living in Tokyo, so I had to start mixing my own. That's how NTMG began.
