This one’s not so unique, but made a pretty color anyway. First, make a light gray, about the color of cigarette ash (yuck!) Add some mid-tone cool purple in a ratio of half and half. Hint: Add the darker color to the lighter until you get the color you want. I then mixed in some pearl shimmer powder to the mixed purple. I wanted a sort of antiquey long-ago-forgotten look for these, so I didn’t add a topcoat and left the shimmer bare.

About nevertoomuchglitter

Nail artist. Wanderer. I'm a color-holic, in fact, it was my love of color that brought me to the nail art world. Well, that, and the fact I was too cheap to pay crazy Japanese prices for nail polish while living in Tokyo, so I had to start mixing my own. That's how NTMG began.

Those nails and that color look beautiful on your hands. It really compliments your skin tone.
