It’s officially the Year Of The Snake as Chinese New Year is underway! It’s a multi-day celebration with lots of food, family and fun, but being alone with just the Mr. in a foreign land, I painted a festive mani and ate a Cadbury bar instead. 
There’s a gold leaf nail, a snake, the Chinese character for “prosperity” and a 2013/snakey nail on the thumb, along with plenty of gold glitter.

And..Tuesday is Mardi Gras, then Thursday is Valentine’s Day. Phew, this is quite a packed week of fun (?) events. Here’s a little bit of Mardi Gras dazzle- you will be the queen of the ball with these on. Heck, you may not even need any beads.
